Learning Agility Sebagai Mediator Job Involvement dan Innovative Work Behavior Karyawan Generasi Z di Sleman
Abstract
Fenomena COVID-19 berhasil memberikan dampak pada sektor perdagangan yang mayoritas berubah menjadi digital, sehingga dibutuhkan banyaknya penyesuaian baik dari segi kemampuan karyawan maupun kebijakan perusahaan dalam menyikapi fenomena yang sedang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa peran learning agility sebagai mediator antara job involvement dan innovative work behavior pada karyawan generasi z di Sleman, Yogyakarta. Penelitian diuji dengan melibatkan 102 sampel sebagai subjek penelitian. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan dianalisis dengan uji validitas dengan average variance extracted, uji reliabilitas menggunakan composite reliability, dan uji hipotesis dengan bootstrapping menggunakan smart-PLS 4.0. Penelitian menghasilkan job involvement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap innovative work behavior, learning agility berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap innovative work behavior, dan learning agility mampu memperkuat pengaruh job involvement terhadap innovative work behavior. Dengan berfokus pada generasi z, penelitian ini mampu membuktikan bahwa karakteristik dari gen z yang dipadukan dengan meningkatnya keterlibatan kerja, pemfasilitasan pengembangan kemampuan belajar karyawan mampu membantu perusahaan menciptakan lingkungan kerja serta mendorong karyawan untuk berperilaku lebih inovatif.
Abstract - The COVID-19 phenomenon has had an impact on the economy, the majority of which has changed to digital, so that many adjustments are needed both in terms of employee capabilities and company policies in responding to the current phenomenon. This study aims to analyze the role of learning agility as a mediator between job involvement and innovative work behavior in generation z employees in Sleman. The research was tested by involving 102 samples as research subjects. Using quantitative methods and analyzed with validity tests with average variance extracted, reliability tests using composite reliability, and hypothesis tests with bootstrapping using smart-PLS 4.0. The research results that job involvement has a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior, learning agility has a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior, and learning agility can strengthen the influence of job involvement on innovative work behavior. By focusing on generation z, this study is able to prove that the characteristics of generation z combined with increased work involvement, facilitating the development of employee learning abilities are able to help companies create a work environment that is able to encourage employees to behave more innovatively.
